Any contributions to rebuilding the lamlash toilet beside the Pier would be much appreciated. We hope to rebuild it in 2024/5.

The local community would like to replace the football goals at the lamlash football pitch behind the high school. Please could you buy a new set?

we would like a food donation as our stock diminishes fast even though we have just opened. any tins of meat with a good date would be best and packets of cereal, diluting juice, toiletries, basically all food and household items that have a good shelf life

we need to upgrade our store room as it was previously the cleaners room . needs the walls emulsioned and new flooring i.e. slip proof lino. and the cupboards under the sink need replacing .

The hall of the Church of the Nazarene, in which the Foodbank is based, is a Category C historic building. The hall is need of renovation in terms of floors walls and roof along with internal redesign to better fit its role to support the Foodbanks work. WE have a concept design which we require to be completed by professionals with architectural capacity to 1) Allow them to be sued for planning requirements 2) to cost how much the work would require so that we can make the proper funding applications. There is no deadline.

We're looking for support to develop a small peaceful garden in the grounds of Millport Town Hall for people to relax in. The area needs levelling and paving and we'd like to install raised beds to plant.

We'd like to install an illuminated poster case on the outside wall of the building to publicise upcoming events, and buy two free-standing display units for inside the building. The approximate cost is £1000.

We'd like support to install storage batteries for our solar panel installation - it's a 30-panel, 12kW system.

We are trying to develop and bring back to life a pond within the Garrison House grounds to improve the eco system and to enhance a place of natural beauty and provide a site for learning about wildlife for our local primary school pupils, and a sensory space for residents from our local care home who can enjoy the sights, smells, flora & forna. The area offers, as well as being an attraction for visitors, a space to be enjoyed by our community. Our staff are working on improving the area right now (pictures can be provided) but need shrubs, rockery plants to enhance the area developed and encourage wildlife - bees, butterflies etc. The area we have available is probably about 100 square metres and we are really keen to plant out the area this summer, if possible.

As above our pond project is what we hope to achieve and the 2nd part of the project is to put a lining in the pond to allow us to have it filled all year round as opposed to only having water in it when we have heavy rain. This can allow us to improve the wildlife, hopefully have fish added to the pond and enhance what Garrison House grounds offer. A pond lining would allow for this and the area we would be covering would be approx. 100 square metres. To enhance the project it would be amazing if we could also line the pool this year which would allow us to immediately improve the natural environment offered within Garrison House Grounds to our wildlife.

Any financial assistance towards the development of the pond project would be hugely appreciated, to allow for the purchase of plants/shrubs, hopefully pond plants to aerate the water for fish. Purchase of equipment to keep pond clear / cleaned and upkeep of area from a garden maintenance point of view.

We are currently involved in a major project to expand our existing facility, in line with our charitable aims, to include disabled access and toilet facilities. The project has the support of SportsScotand and will be complete by the end of May 2022. The charity however will need to make a substantial contribution to the project costs which will leave the charity in challenging times managing its cash flow in 2022/.2023. We intend to run a number of fundraising events throughout 2022 and financial sponsorship would greatly assist in that fundraising programme.

We seek to establish an outdoor seating area to enable our disabled and infirm users access our available outdoor space for casual chat group and reminiscing group conversations. Doing this activity outside when the weather allows has a hugely positive impact on our users. We will be laying out the area but could really use some donations of patio style furniture for our members to use in the good weather.

We seek to upgrade our kitchen facilities to allow casual meeting groups and supported functions better facilities to provide light refreshments etc to users. The donation of reasonable quality kitchen units or sink units would be most welcome.

Building and paving materials such as sand, concrete, paving bricks, postcrete - no deadline but specific project. We cannot get a contravctor to commit and it is a bit heavy for our age fgroup - mostly in our 70s.

We are always seeking compost, bark, fertiliser and gardening equipment. We are particularly looking for 2 strimmers. Plants and shrubs are also welcomed.

The windows in our centre are rotting away and the frames barely hold the glass in place anymore. We are seeking a donation of £1000 to put towards the cost of new windows.

We recently had a roof survey completed and we require an asbestos survey to confirm the findings of the initial review. Our roof is leaking and we are keen to get the right professional advice ASAP so we can keep the hall in good shape for as long as we can.
