A Container and Voluntary Time to set up please We urgently need a container sited outside of the hall - this will offer local people accessing the Community Larder more privacy and dignity. We also hope that it encourages others living in food poverty to access this vital service. Currently, we have the fridge/freezer in the main hall and the larder in a large cupboard area also in the main hall, access is managed around when the hall is not in use. The container we require to have electricity for fridges and Freezers and lighting/heating. We will also require purpose-built shelving for food items and things like school uniforms/Halloween kids' recycling clothing rail as we will make it a multi-use facility.

We aim to provide local kids and youths with fun activities, gaming groups, sports access and football team development and arts and crafting opportunities. We need sponsorship for setting up a football team and fundraising support to be able to purchase sports equipment and crafting supplies.

We need support to design a new dining area for our Community Cafe to enable us to get accurate costings to apply for funding and signage for the front of the building to encourage pride in the local hall.

We would like a water supply at the garden in the form of a standpipe. We gather rain water which provides enough water to service the garden. We are in the process of adopting the towns flower planters with community groups and organisations for which we need to access water. There was previously a building on the garden site and hope there is a water pipe present. We would be most grateful if a company could find a supply and install a standpipe within our garden.

Ardrossan & Largs Sea Cadets (TS Gannet) need assistance from companies who can help with the supply of Skips 14 cubic meters in size to help carry and dispose of the portacabins that are unfit to accommodate Sea Cadets in their education in the skills of handling boats and the sea. If your company can supply skips and help at reduced cost or free, this would allow the cadets to clear their premises ready for their location to be rebuilt and able to accommodate more cadets from our community.

Ardrossan Sea Cadets have several steel portacabins, with seven old-style portacabins that are unusable if your company could uplift them and take them away for disposal or refurbishment. The cadets would be eternally thankful as this will clear the area, ready for phase 3 to rebuild the accommodation needed to increase the number of cadets. Ardrossan Sea Cadets are looking for help and assistance to demolish 7 portacabins that are unfit to be used due to water ingress and need to be dismantled and disposed of in an environmental way that meets all the government and council conditions for disposal. If you’re a company that could help with your services the cadets would be internally grateful as this will allow the location to continue with its phased rebuild.

Ardrossan Sea Cadets need replacement Portacabins to replace the units they lost due to the pandemic. Because of no meetings, the portacabins could not be maintained. The lack of maintenance, thereby became unfit to accommodate our Sea Cadets. Do you have some 32ft x 10ft portacabins that you do not need but could be put to use for our sea Cadets to use?

Our maintenance team need new power tools, drivers, angle grinders, bench saws, awning to aid work in wet weather. I have a list I can provide which comes to around £5000.

A line of agricultural machinery needs a long shed built to help protect from inclement weather. We also envisage building the roof strong enough to take south facing solar panels. It would be open on the North side. Probably around 2 metres long. We need 4x4 and 2x4 wood for uprights, boards and suitable roofing material- basically anything we can make and roof a long 3 sided shed. 20 meters than 25. 4x4 and 2x4 wood, boards for the roof-basically anything we can make and roof a long 3 sided shed- and have a roof strong enough to take solar panels.

We have secured £5000 donation for a museum administrative post. This gives enough for 6 hours per week. Ideally we would like to obtain a further £7000 to allow us to increase the hours to 18 per week.

Materials to deliver group sessions - yoga mats, blankets, cushions, sensory lights, resources. £500 would be needed to cover materials. These will be used for multiple ongoing groups

Funding to provide opportunities for people in the community to experience a range of holistic therapies, to improve their mental health and wellbeing and to develop coping skills that will enhance their lives. People who would benefit from the support however do not have the financial means to access them. £1,000 would cover the delivery of the services.

We require a portaloo for our new premises. Unfortunately due to unforeseen delays in promised funding we have members unable to attend due to the toilets being downstairs. We require a portaloo to go in our main floorspace until the end of October by which time our funding will have hopefully been approved and the necessary building of a new toilet block completed.
