We require an access route from just inside our main gate to our fully accesible toilet to be laid with Tarmac. This will provide an even surface for users. At present the surface is uneven and filled with stones. There are also other areas of the gorund which require some tarmac but the toilet pathway is a priority.

We would like donation/financial support for our various fundraising activities that support the many clubs and community activities we run.We would be open for short or long term sponsorship of our new main stand and community recreational stadium, which would include naming rights.

We continually work hard to maintain our community facility and would be grateful for donations of wood, aggregate, tarmac, paint, breeze block and any other building supplies that go towards our continued upkeep of the facility

We are seeking food donations to help establish a Community Cupboard. This will provide immediate support to families experiencing crisis who may be unable to access a Food Bank or Larder support—particularly later in the day after 2pm. The Community Cupboard will offer a dignified, flexible way for families to access essential items when they need them most

We are seeking donations of essential toiletries to support families who are experiencing financial difficulties. Everyday items such as shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and sanitary products can make a real difference. These items help families maintain dignity, wellbeing, and basic self-care during challenging times.

We are seeking donations of 2-3 tablets or iPads to support our day-to-day work with families. These devices would be used within our Family After School Groups and Parents Wellbeing Group to help deliver activities, access online resources, and support learning and engagement. Having access to this equipment will enhance participation, reduce digital exclusion, and help families build confidence in using technology

Preparing for a busy year ahead with a Summer Golf Scramble and a family Christmas event the group are looking for 1 or possibly 2 new or refurbished laptops and a Microsoft package for the secretary and treasurer to allow them to help plan, promote and deliver these events effectively on seperate laptops, ensuring they are compliant with data protection and GDPR. They are starting from scratch with next to nothing and this would make a massive difference.

Review and Minor Repair of Existing Solar Panels We are seeking support from a suitably qualified contractor to inspect and assess the existing solar panel system installed on the roof of our main clubhouse, which is currently under‑performing and not fully operational. The support requested includes: A visual and technical inspection of the solar panel array Testing of cabling, inverters and connections Identification of faults or non‑performing panels Minor remedial repairs only, such as: Replacement of damaged wiring or connectors Re‑securing panels or fittings Reset or minor repair of inverter equipment This request does not include full replacement of the system or installation of new panels. Scale / time commitment: Likely 1–2 engineer visits Short‑duration works (up to one working day) Community impact: Restoring the system will reduce energy costs for a heavily used community facility, lower environmental impact, and help ensure financial sustainability for community sport, health and wellbeing services in a SIMD area.

Repair of Existing Perimeter Security Fencing We are requesting assistance to repair sections of existing security fencing around parts of the Kilwinning Community Sports Club site that have deteriorated due to age and weather exposure. Support requested may include: Assessment of damaged fence sections Repair or replacement of approximately: 6–10 damaged fence panels or rails Associated fixings (posts, clamps, bolts or brackets) Re‑securing fencing where it has become loose or unstable All fencing already exists on site; this request is for repairs only, not new installation. Materials required (indicative): Metal mesh or palisade fencing panels (matching existing where possible) Fixings and ground anchors Labour to remove and refit damaged areas Scale / time commitment: Small‑scale repair works 1 day (or equivalent short duration) Community impact: Improved fencing will enhance safety, safeguarding and site security for children, young people, volunteers, spectators and visiting schools, protecting a key community asset used daily by the public.

Volunteer Support Day for Grass Pitch and Surroundings We are seeking a team of corporate volunteers from a Council contractor to support a one‑day volunteer activity focused on maintaining Buffs Park grass pitch and its immediate surroundings. Tasks may include: Light grounds and pitch‑edge maintenance Litter clearance around pitch perimeters and spectator areas Clearing debris from fence lines and access routes General tidying and presentation improvements All work would be supervised by Club staff, with tasks matched to volunteer skills and physical capability. Volunteer numbers: Ideally 6–12 volunteers Equipment: Basic tools (litter pickers, gloves, rakes) can be provided by the Club if required Scale / time commitment: One half‑day or full‑day volunteer session Community impact: This will visibly improve the quality and appearance of a well‑used public sports facility, support volunteer engagement, and demonstrate positive partnership working between contractors and the local community.

Labour and tools to erect new children's play frame in hub's garden.

Sponsorship and to help financially with the Hub's 50th Anniversary Summer Celebration for the local residents.

Labour and scaffolding / ladders to paint interior and exterior of the building to freshen up.

£300 would allow for food provision for Tea & Toast and Community meals for approximately 3 months. This is a much needed in the community and feedback from the community confirms this. Thank you for considering this donation.

£750 for Mental Health & Wellbeing course & activities. This donation would allow us to buy in courses from a mental health charity for up to 30 participants to benefit from educational courses around Mental Health & Wellbeing. This would include Trauma informed courses on understanding emotions, confidence building and would allow individuals to learn self management strategies and techniques. These courses have previously been very successful for those who have attended.

Mens group resources Mens group runs to help reduce isolation in males within the Irvine area - it also allows men only time where they can talk about real issues and support each other. We are looking for donations of Board Games & Gardening equipment. Gardening equipment would help the men to reach into the community to help others and would give them a sense of purpose, something that has been lacking for many of them.

We are in the process of redeveloping part of our grounds into a community garden space, with raised planters which will be available for members of the community to use. We are looking for someone who would be able to lay about 20 2x2 slabs for us - some of the planters would be positioned on these slabs. We already have slabs... the area has been roughly dug out... and we have sand to lay them on. We are just looking for someone with the skill and knowledge to be able to lay them. Thanks

At TACT, we are continually inspired by the dedication and resilience shown by volunteers across North Ayrshire. While online platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams have become commonplace for meetings and communication, they cannot replicate the meaningful social connection, shared experiences, and sense of community that in-person interaction provides. Volunteers play a crucial role in fostering these connections, which are more important than ever during challenging times. To recognise and celebrate this vital contribution, we propose to hold an in-person Volunteer Awards Ceremony. The event will bring together volunteers, community organisations, and representatives from the local authority and public services to formally acknowledge the positive impact volunteers have had within their communities. As in previous years, we will provide goody bags and hampers for attendees, continuing a tradition that has been warmly received over the past four years. These hampers will include items such as coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, and crisps—small comforts that many people may not currently prioritise for themselves. Alongside this, hosting the event in a local community facility allows us to support and recognise these spaces while encouraging social interaction and community connection. Volunteer Week has been celebrated for over 40 years, and each year we strive to make it a meaningful and memorable experience. This year’s “Oscars”-themed event will take place at the Civic Centre in Ardrossan on Wednesday 3rd June, with TACT providing hot drinks and a buffet for all attendees. Special guests, will be invited to present awards and gain a deeper understanding of the exceptional work carried out by volunteers in North Ayrshire. All funding received will be used directly to ensure volunteers feel valued, recognised, and appreciated. This event is our small but heartfelt way of saying a very big “thank you.” Feedback from previous years has been overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees expressing how meaningful it was to be recognised and to spend time with others in such a supportive and uplifting environment. The funding will also be used to cover the hire of the Civic Centre in Ardrossan and to provide a buffet supplied by local charity Ardrossan Community Association (Whitlees Community Centre). Funding will also support the provision of refreshments, including tea, coffee, milk, and sugar, for all attendees.

Looking for a 20ft container so we can continue our recycling provision. We currently recycle cans and anything we can recycle from the shed.

Donation of £500 -£1000 to help us hold an open day/ community event at our shed. We'd like to supply free food and refreshments. This event would be open to all with the aim to promote our shed and invite new members.

Macbook Pro laptop - We need a new laptop that has apple applications for our processes of the shed. We have previously used this type of laptop and it has been great and easy for us to use.

The group are looking to create a brand/image to help young people identify the group members. For this the group are looking for a laptop to help create a digital identity to promote what we do.

We are seeking access to a 3D printer to support the development of innovative youth work resources and enhance learning opportunities for young people. The introduction of 3D printing technology would enable the creation of bespoke materials, interactive tools, and creative projects that can enrich youth programmes. It would also provide young people with hands‑on experience in digital fabrication, problem‑solving, and design skills, helping to broaden their learning, confidence, and engagement in STEM‑related activities.

We are seeking a Cricut machine and materials bundle to support the creation of a strong and recognisable brand identity for Next Gen Voice. This resource will enable us to design and produce high‑quality, visually consistent materials that help raise awareness of the group across the Irvine locality. By increasing our visibility, we aim to strengthen engagement with young people and encourage more of them to recognise the group and access our support. The Cricut machine will allow us to produce branded hoodies, banners, and T‑shirts, helping to clearly identify our members and promote a sense of belonging and professionalism within the group.
