We would like to re-design our website to bring it up to date & make it user friendly. We currently manage the website in house & would like to continue to be able to do this - however we would also like it to have a much better layout, images & graphics.

Lochranza Centre CIC is made of of older buildings which have been converted for the purposes of accommodation, teaching rooms, lounges, dining room & kitchen. We have a section of roof where two buildings join which currently leaks. This requires assessment initially & then repair.

Financial (donation of money)

A number of the Schools we look after, who visit for activity & educational breaks are finding things really tough financially at the moment. We would like to set up a Bursary Fund so we can support those who need it most to attend with their friends. We are looking for either one Company who would like to 'sponsor' this scheme in their name or donations to the fund in general.

Working with a local group who make and serve food on the night voluntary to cover the cost of the ingredients for them to do so. This is given out for free to families. Food & Drink: £500

We would like to enhance the environment of the medieval church and graveyard at Ardrossan Castle. The aim of the project is to improve visitor accessibility and maintenance of the important heritage site. We would be looking for materials, such as aggregate and floor matting, as well as any volunteer labour time from the contractors to complete the project at the Castle site. There is no time limit, however work would preferably be undertaken in Spring/reasonable weather.

We would like to enhance the surrounding environment of Ardrossan Castle Hill by making it more secure. The aim of this project is to replace broken and damaged boundary fences around the Castle Hill site. We would be looking for materials, such as fence railing, as well as any volunteer labour time from the contractors to complete the project at the Castle site. There is no time limit for this project idea.

We would like to enhance the environment of the heritage site at Ardrossan Castle and Castle Hill by making it more visitor friendly. The aim of the project is to improve visitor experience. We would be looking for materials, such as picnic tables, benches, viewpoint signage, viewfinders, as well as any volunteer labour time from the contractors to litter pick and garden at the Castle Hill site. There is no time limit, however work such as a litter pick would preferably be undertaken in Autumn/once vegetation has died back for winter.

Our switch-on event this year will be held on 29 November, with parade, carols, entertainers and stalls. Last year, the event was very popular with the community - it was well attended and the atmosphere was buoyant. We believe this really benefits the whole of Ardrossan inclusively. We are bidding for £2000 toward event costs, including the closure of Glasgow Street. Our Facebook page is 'Ardrossan Christmas Decorations Committee'.

Food (donation)

We would also like to be able to provide hot food (such as hot dogs, soup, tea and coffee) for free to the community. Ideally, this donation would include serving the food.

We would like to be able to fund a small gift each for the children and to purchase a festive snow globe. The total cost of these items is in the region of £1400.

We are currently looking at painting the whole community centre as it badly needs a freshen up, we are looking for help with materials and man power to help our Volunteers get this done. We would be looking for Paint,Brushes,Rollers,Dust sheets and anything else required to help us complete this task.

The Wee School Pantry is looking for food donations to help with the ongoing cost of living crisis that our community is facing allowing us to offer food at greatly reduced costs. We are looking for Tinned Foods, Fresh Fruit and Veg, Frozen Foods and Fresh/Frozen Meat.

Bridgend Community Centre has a few external repairs that require to be addressed before they become larger issues and unfortunately North Ayrshire Council don't have the necessary funds available to address them. We are looking for materials like concrete/external plaster as well as people who are familiar with this type of work.

Every year the group arranges a 10k race in honour of one of the founding members who sadly passed away. We are looking for funding to purchase 200 medals that each participant who completed the race will receive.

We would be grateful for sponsorship towards the event in the form of water, tables, gazebos etc.

The community of Ardrossan has a lot of fly tipping, and we're hoping to decrease it by offering free skips for local people to use. The skips would be secure within the centre grounds, after bonfire nights, to encourage people to bring any items to the skip to improve our local community and improve the look and feel of the town. While we would be hosting the skips in the north of the town, the offer would be open to anyone in the community. We're looking for 2 skips for a week in early November if possible, or donations of money towards the cost of skip hire.

Sponsorship or fundraising support

We've recently started supporting a mixed youth football team based at the Whitlees Community Centre. As this is a new team, we're looking for any support or sponsorship to help them get the materials they need to play. We would be really grateful for any donations of tracksuits, football posts, balls, markers or other football equipment for the young people.

Each year we host a Community Christmas dinner for members of our community who would otherwise be alone over the festive season. We usually hold this in early December, and we provide a three course meal, entertainment and a present for everyone who attends. We would be really grateful for any donations of food items or vouchers for local supermarkets to help us make this another great event.

We require a refresh of the public toilets, with focus on specific issues listed below: - check the drains for sand sediments - new handles on few WC cisterns - locks on the doors - few toilet seats (repair or replace) - entrance doors locks

Due to the condition of the roof, which is continuously deteriorating due to its age and exposure to harsh coastal weather, we are looking for a temporary accommodation, e.g. converted container. The cheapest we have found on FB marketplace was of a value of £10k. We would welcome monetary donations towards it.

We're planning VE day on the 8th of May 2025 at the Harbourside in Irvine. It will include, street party and lighting of the beacon at the Compass (Pierhead) at 21:30. We would welcome donations towards organising this event.

We are just about to erect a new toilet block and are looking for sanitaryware. 2 standard toilet bowls, 1 disabled toilet bowl along with 3 sinks with cold taps (we have electric hot water units). We are putting up 2 standard toilet traps and 1 disabled,

Looking to source 1 laptop and 1 desktop PC with Windows 10. The laptop for use by the She Shed and the desktop for office administration.

We require a portaloo for our new premises. Unfortunately due to unforeseen delays in promised funding we have members unable to attend due to the toilets being downstairs. We require a portaloo to go in our main floorspace until the end of October by which time our funding will have hopefully been approved and the necessary building of a new toilet block completed.

We are nearing the end of a project to install a state of the art concrete skatepark in Orr's Park, Beith. We raised over £200k to make this project possible. Due to increased costs and unplanned for costs we have a shortfall in the budget for landscaping. Our contractor did not budget for an access road and Sportscotland required us to provide floodlighting, NAC did not give permission to use the lighting already in the park and we had to bring in a new supplier. We have had a landscaping quote for £24k from a local and reputable company and need to raise £8k to meet this. We feel it is extremely important that the landscaping is undertaken to a high spec and embeds the skatepark in the park. We require the landscaping work to be completed in September 2024. We require a financial donation to meet a deficit in our budget due to increased and unexpected costs during construction. We require this money as soon as possible in order to complete the project. We are committed to giving young people in Beith and further afield free access to a first class leisure facility. The skatepark build started in April 24 and we are keen to conclude the project by the end of September 24. Thank you.
