Community Benefits Wishlist Submission

We have recently moved into new premises which had been empty for 4 years, and we urgently need a small roof repair to protect our renovation work so far. We have all the materials aside from tech screws, and would be looking for someone to come out with a grinder and a cherry picker to replace the three missing panels on the roof (which we will supply)

As part of the work on our new building we'd be really grateful for a gas and electricity safety check to be completed. There are two combi boilers in the building (one upstairs and one downstairs).

We would like to renovate the old canteen space in our building to run a community café and host classes around food. If you have any donations of materials t help with this - oven, sink, cooker, worktops, fridge-freezer, stainless steel surfaces - we would be extremely grateful

Financial donation for the first aiders for the day. This is £430 for the full day for 6 qualified first aiders. Thank you for considering covering this cost

Books and sensory gifts for ASN santas grotto. £500 This will allow for approximately 150 children with ASN to get an appropriate gift from santa Thank you for considering all of part of this wish

£265 Grotto set up - this will be a fully inclusive, accessible santas grotto. last year one family told us "this is the first year we have been able to get a family photo with santa - thank you for being inclusive and not just saying you are".

We are seeking a financial donation so we can pay for room hire, we would also like to invite speakers in to share different stories, hints and tips. Also we would be looking to eventually seek some instructors to come in and complete things like Yoga, perhaps sell skin care products.

We would be seeking a donation of materials such as Tea, Coffee, Biscuits or even cakes if we had the money to buy them.

we would ask for sponsorship / fundraising support to help spread the word as well as raising funds. we are keen to have our wee group spread to allow us to reach all mums who have different circumstances for example a morning class but we would need to look for alternative halls and these cost money. Fundraising idea could also be things like a summer fete, Christmas fair.

There are still those special kinds of people – Volunteers, who although they themselves are struggling, realise there are still people who are worse off and they can do so much in their communities to help out. We would like to highlight how pivotal volunteers are by celebrating their contribution to their communities. We will do this by holding an in-person award ceremony, with guest presenters from the local authority and other public services and of course the volunteers and organisations themselves. As in previous years we are continuing to offer goody bags and hampers that we have provided for the last few years as we know how welcomed they are. They will include such things as coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, crisps things that people most likely won’t be buying for themselves at this time) and lots more but we also understand the importance of socialising and the importance of interacting with other people. Using local community facilities also helps us support them and gives them the recognition they so clearly deserve. Volunteer Week has been celebrated for over 40 years, and each year we aim to make it as special as possible for both our volunteers and the organisations. This year, our “Oscars” event will take place at the Civic Centre in Ardrossan, where TACT will be providing hot drinks and a buffet for all attendees. All funding raised will be spent on making the volunteers feel special and appreciated, just our small way of saying a big Thank You. Any help will be greatly appreciated and as a thank you an invite to the ceremony will be given to everyone who supports us with this event. We will also highlight your organisation by using your logo in all our promotional material, this will also be placed into each of the individual bags.

We are continually needing the things that we cannot give out second hand, this includes but is not limited to: nappies, bottles and weaning equipment, baby toiletries (bath wash, shampoo, lotion, nappy rash cream) wipes and underwear for the children out of nappies. These are things that are regularly requested in the bundles that go out, so we are asking for as much that can be donated.

Baby Bundles is a project run from the registered charity organisation Beith Community Development Trust and as such we rely on different funding and donations when there are things that we need to be able to supply in our bundles that we cannot get donated to us. We are looking for any kind of financial donations to be able to have a pot of money that we are able to use in the instance that a family are requesting something that we cannot source through the kind donations of the community around them.

We are looking for an old portacabin to be dispose off. This cabin is around 40ft x 12ft. There is no power to the unit and no water. It has been emptied with the exception on a few items. We are looking for this to removed no later than September 2025

Irvine Sea cadets are looking for some funding to cover the cost of the MOT and service of our mini bus. The mini bus is used for travelling to courses for our cadets and volunteer staff. The mini bus requires servicing every 6-8 weeks which can be costly.

Office Space portacabin We are on the lookout for a portacabin that has x2 office space with heating and electrics. This is a space required for our volunteering staff to give back the cadets safe space.

We are looking for £500 to help us bring in speakers or holistic practitioners.

We'd like to run a summer community fun day. We aim to supply the community with activities, refreshments and fun for all of the community of Springside.

Every year we run a Halloween fright night around the village. We need more decoration's to decorate the community centre and village. We'd also like to give the children goody bags. We're also looking a donation of sweets or snacks to supply this.

For our Gala on 31st May we are looking for financial support to provide activities for families. Kilwinning Segdoune Gala is an annual event that is very well attended by the town.

The main street has old wiring that is used for the Christmas lights. There is currently a fault within one junction box. It would me of tremendous benefit to Kilwinning if this was fixed as it impacted on two crossovers and the Christmas tree lights.

We have a storage container where the towns Christmas lights and events materials are stored. This needs kitted out as there is no shelving. A donation of shelving units and or having these fitted would make a huge difference for the group.

Help to provide a summer outing for families in local area during holidays when money is tight by way of sponsoring it through provision of buying tickets or paying for bus.

Washable paint and equipment/ resources required to decorate community centre foyer where lunches are served to local community.
