We are looking for some Grass Reinforcement Mesh – Heavy-Duty Turf Protection for Car Parks, Driveways & Lawns. We aim to use this for a couple of disabled parking spaces close to the field to facilitate access as the current parking is quite far from the field and makes it hard for people with mobility issues to access. We are looking for roughly 2mx30m. Any excess from the car spaces would be used in high traffic areas of the field where it is becoming muddy and slippery.

Help with the setting up and dismantling of 240 crowd barriers for a jousting event we want to put on for our visitors. This is to provide an arena 20 x 70m long. It has to be double ringed for safety purposes. This is the weekend of Sat 6th and Sun 7th Sept and will need to be done either the night before or preferably first thing in the morning and dismantled on the Sunday evening or Monday morning.

We require volunteers for many aspects of the festival including: **Marshalling**: Guide our festival-goers and ensure the safety and smooth flow of events. **Ticket Collection and Distribution**: Assist with managing entry points to the festival. **Survey Taking**: Gather valuable feedback from attendees to help us improve future festivals. **Event Assistance**: Help organise and manage various exciting events, such as parades, entertainment shows, and village activities. **Setting Up Arenas**: Ensure our event spaces are ready for action. **Market management** Marking out pitches, moving and setting up of stalls and tables. Assisting traders, marketeers, charities and community groups with wears and equipment. **Entertainment** Liasing and assisting bands and performers on and off stage, time management and potentially sound and light engineering etc. ** Pitching tents**. Helping the reenactors pitch their tents safely and securely. .**Procession Marshal**: Lead and coordinate festival parades. **Crowd Management**: Help create a welcoming and safe environment for all attendees. **Car Park Marshal**: Direct vehicles and ensure efficient use of parking spaces. **Public Assistance**: Provide information and support to festival visitors. **Liaising with Reenactors**: Work with our historical performers to ensure authentic and engaging portrayals. **Longboat Building Assistance**: Contribute to the construction of our iconic Viking longboat. **Merch and Donation Collection**: Support our fundraising efforts. **Weather Management**: Distribute straw and sand on wet days to ensure safe pathways. Make sure tents are well pitched. **Water Carrier**: Keep participants and attendees hydrated. **Signage Distribution**: Ensure essential information is clearly posted around the festival grounds. Assistance to erect fencing.

Areas of the plot become badly flooded. Financial assistance with the costs associated with installing drainage.

Groundworks and materials to improve paths. Paths are narrow and uneven leaving most of the plot inaccessible to people with mobility issues. Our aim is to be able to be fully inclusive

We are looking for an old portacabin to be dispose off. This cabin is around 40ft x 12ft. There is no power to the unit and no water. It has been emptied with the exception on a few items. We are looking for this to removed no later than September 2025

Irvine Sea cadets are looking for some funding to cover the cost of the MOT and service of our mini bus. The mini bus is used for travelling to courses for our cadets and volunteer staff. The mini bus requires servicing every 6-8 weeks which can be costly.

Office Space portacabin We are on the lookout for a portacabin that has x2 office space with heating and electrics. This is a space required for our volunteering staff to give back the cadets safe space.

We are looking for £500 to help us bring in speakers or holistic practitioners.

For our Gala on 31st May we are looking for financial support to provide activities for families. Kilwinning Segdoune Gala is an annual event that is very well attended by the town.

The main street has old wiring that is used for the Christmas lights. There is currently a fault within one junction box. It would me of tremendous benefit to Kilwinning if this was fixed as it impacted on two crossovers and the Christmas tree lights.

We have a storage container where the towns Christmas lights and events materials are stored. This needs kitted out as there is no shelving. A donation of shelving units and or having these fitted would make a huge difference for the group.

Help to provide a summer outing for families in local area during holidays when money is tight by way of sponsoring it through provision of buying tickets or paying for bus.

Washable paint and equipment/ resources required to decorate community centre foyer where lunches are served to local community.

The HUB on the PROM, has established as part of Ardrossan Connections project a 20 place bike shed (10 manual and 10 electric places). ACDT is seeking support for the provision of manual and/or electric bikes that will be used by ACDT and Ardrossan's communities to deliver activities within the active travel sector including walking and cycling. These activities will enable members of Ardrossan's communities to improve their physical and mental health and well-being.

ACDT has developed an initial Masterplan for the ongoing development of Ardrossan's South Beach. ACDT is seeking contractor support for the following activities: 1. Creation of new and refurbishment of existing paths to increase accessibility to the promenade. 2. Creation of new disabled care parking at the HUB on the PROM to increase the accessibility to the HUB and Promenade. 3. Creation of foundations and concrete areas, enabling the siting of a mobile sauna that will be made available to our community for physical and mental health and wellbeing activities.

ACDT is seeking to increase the level and effectiveness of its community communication and is seeking support for the installation of digital notice boards within Ardrossan including: 1. The HUB on the PROM. 2. Glasgow Street, Ardrossan.

The Highland Games costs a considerable amount of money to put on every year and although we receive entry money for competitions and advertising etc we have to put out outlays each year in order for the games to be a success. Each competition has prize money and one such competition is the heavies event with the prize money being around £1000 between the sections.

Sponsorship, like above, would considerably help us with the planning of the event. Our programmes which are free each year cost us between £500 and £800 depending on the quantity we decide to get printed. These programmes contain a wide variety of local business who advertise through them as well as all the information that people need for the day.

We have had the privilege of being supported by the Cunninghame Housing Association fund throughout th years however this year we have been advised that it is currently under review and therefore no applications are being accepted for 2025/2026 which has set us back financially already. Any support is greatly appreciated by the committee and helps us make the games the success it always is.
