Community Benefits Wishlist Submission

Our maintenance team need new power tools, drivers, angle grinders, bench saws, awning to aid work in wet weather. I have a list I can provide which comes to around £5000.

A line of agricultural machinery needs a long shed built to help protect from inclement weather. We also envisage building the roof strong enough to take south facing solar panels. It would be open on the North side. Probably around 2 metres long. We need 4x4 and 2x4 wood for uprights, boards and suitable roofing material- basically anything we can make and roof a long 3 sided shed. 20 meters than 25. 4x4 and 2x4 wood, boards for the roof-basically anything we can make and roof a long 3 sided shed- and have a roof strong enough to take solar panels.

We have secured £5000 donation for a museum administrative post. This gives enough for 6 hours per week. Ideally we would like to obtain a further £7000 to allow us to increase the hours to 18 per week.

Materials to deliver group sessions - yoga mats, blankets, cushions, sensory lights, resources. £500 would be needed to cover materials. These will be used for multiple ongoing groups

Funding to provide opportunities for people in the community to experience a range of holistic therapies, to improve their mental health and wellbeing and to develop coping skills that will enhance their lives. People who would benefit from the support however do not have the financial means to access them. £1,000 would cover the delivery of the services.

A printer so that I can print of journals/resources that I am making for groups

We require labour to paint sections of the ground within the pirate play park. We can provide the paint. It would be a massive help if we could get assistance in the labour of doing this. Kind Regards Donna

Plumber to check hall boiler and heating system

We would like to have our lighting upgraded to LED strip lights and are looking for support from an electrician to help us to do this.

We'd really appreciate some support in clearing the guttering if possible; this was highlighted in a survey of the building and it would be great to get this done before the weather worsens.

Any contributions to rebuilding the lamlash toilet beside the Pier would be much appreciated. We hope to rebuild it in 2024/5.

The local community would like to replace the football goals at the lamlash football pitch behind the high school. Please could you buy a new set?

we would like a food donation as our stock diminishes fast even though we have just opened. any tins of meat with a good date would be best and packets of cereal, diluting juice, toiletries, basically all food and household items that have a good shelf life

need help for wish three, so painter, joiner, and flooring expert.

we need to upgrade our store room as it was previously the cleaners room . needs the walls emulsioned and new flooring i.e. slip proof lino. and the cupboards under the sink need replacing .

In 2022, we were awarded £2,500 of funding from The Ayrshire Community Trust which allowed us to set up a Discretionary Hardship Fund which provided financial support to 36 individuals and their families. This enabled us to provide instant, tangible financial support to clients who were struggling most with the impact of the Cost-of-Living Crisis. Due to the demand on our services by people who face financial crisis through various situations, this funding has now been completely utilised. We are requesting a financial donation of £2,500 to match this previous fund; however, a donation of any amount would be very much appreciated. Providing this support allowed clients to top up their gas/electricity meters, purchase essential household items and gain access to food, warm clothing, mobile devices, as well as other various means of support required depending on the clients' individual circumstances. We know that anything can happen to anyone, at any time. We want to ensure people have somewhere to turn, and the discretionary fund allows us to provide that help for people in a tough spot. This can also help people avoid borrowing from friends/family, getting into more debt, and potentially prevent them from turning to high-cost or illegal money lenders.

The cost of providing a healthy snack to our parents and children has nearly doubled in recent times. To enable us to continue to do so we are requesting financial help in this area. Our yearly outgoings for snack in the year March 2022 to April 2023 was £1977 any financial support would be greatly appreciated.

The group relies on grants to operate as our parents due to financial constraints could not fund the sessions. We would appreciate any sponsorship that was available.
