We have a track going through our site that is car accessable, essential for many of our older members to get close to their plots but due to the high rainfall of late it is in an awful condition, full of potholes making driving on it pretty awful. We would love any excess type 1or 2 local companies can provide in order to keep it in a drivable condition. We also hope to extend our events area (which also frequently floods)and raise it with type 1or 2. Our group provides free events throughout the year, including a free Easter and Xmas event for local children.

WE would very much like to update our kitchen as it is much used at our community fundraising events and member get togethers and are therefore looking for 2 or 3 wall units and floor units, linoleum to cover the flooring area and a worktop.

We are hopeful to dig 1 or 2 soakaways/wildlife ponds on our site to help with the flooding issue. It would have a double benefit, one being to encourage wildlife onsite and secondly move water away from our plots/enabling us to open up more plots to the community (we have a large waiting list) We are there fore looking for local companies with digging machinery who would be able to work with us in order to dig these small scale ponds and trenches.

We are looking for your employees to mentor a young person in school for an hour a week, during term time. Mentors and young people are carefully matched based on their likes, personality and life-experiences. Everyone is different, so we look for mentors from all walks of life. When one person mentors, two lives are changed.

We are looking for financial donations to help fund travel costs for work experience opportunities.

We are looking for employers to host talent tasters for our young people on the programme.

Paved area at the library has sunk causing a substantial dip causing slips and trips to community members looking to utilise the green space, this requires levelling and repointing.

To buy sand to lift and shore up the paved area, to buy pointing cement and tools to apply the cement. General equipment to make area safer for walking through raising slabs.

Three large planters for patio fruit trees, looking to have apple, pear and cherry so local people can freely take the fruit when the trees are in full leaf.

In 2022, we were awarded £2,500 of funding from The Ayrshire Community Trust which allowed us to set up a Discretionary Hardship Fund which provided financial support to 36 individuals and their families. This enabled us to provide instant, tangible financial support to clients who were struggling most with the impact of the Cost-of-Living Crisis. Due to the demand on our services by people who face financial crisis through various situations, this funding has now been completely utilised. We are requesting a financial donation of £2,500 to match this previous fund; however, a donation of any amount would be very much appreciated. Providing this support allowed clients to top up their gas/electricity meters, purchase essential household items and gain access to food, warm clothing, mobile devices, as well as other various means of support required depending on the clients' individual circumstances. We know that anything can happen to anyone, at any time. We want to ensure people have somewhere to turn, and the discretionary fund allows us to provide that help for people in a tough spot. This can also help people avoid borrowing from friends/family, getting into more debt, and potentially prevent them from turning to high-cost or illegal money lenders.

Our team, a mix of enthusiastic boys and girls, are always in need for football equipment to continue give our young players the opportunity to train and play. Your support with a £250 donation can make a real difference. It will provide our young players with essential kits, fostering their talent and confidence. The cost of providing a healthy snack to our parents and children has nearly doubled in recent times. To enable us to continue to do so we are requesting financial help in this area. Our yearly outgoings for snack in the year March 2022 to April 2023 was £1977 any financial support would be greatly appreciated.

The group would benefit from a new laptop , the existing one is over 13 years old and is in need of upgrading. The laptop is used for producing newsletters, forms, handbooks and emails. The laptop is a vital part of our work as we use it to apply for grants, funding and research.

The group relies on grants to operate as our parents due to financial constraints could not fund the sessions. We would appreciate any sponsorship that was available.

Our project is the refurbishment of the Scout Hut to bring it up to modern day standards, make it fit for purpose and sustainable with reduced running costs. The fabric of the building is now failing and beyond designated lifespan. It is also used by community groups and we want to increase that use. As part of the refurbishment, we wish to upgrade our toilets. We are seeking 4 WC suites, 2 urinals and 5 wash hand basins

We are looking for voluntary time from a plumber who would be willing to install the sanitary wear. The refurbishment programme has been designed on a phased basis, so that it can be undertaken as and when funding and other support allows.

We are also seeking grant funding from various sources. Many of these funds require match funding, however, before a grant will be awarded and therefore any financial donations, which we could demonstrate as match funding, would help us obtain grant funding. For essential works we are looking to raise £96,000. There is grant funding available for larger works such as an air source heat pump and energy efficiency measures, but not so much available for items like sanitary wear

the following materials would be required for building our new sleigh- 4x 18mm marine ply 6x 3x2 cls various selection of screws new lights for decorating the sleigh lap belts and seats

we would require help to build the new sleigh in time for our xmas light switch on which is on Friday November 24th.

The hall of the Church of the Nazarene, in which the Foodbank is based, is a Category C historic building. The hall is need of renovation in terms of floors walls and roof along with internal redesign to better fit its role to support the Foodbanks work. WE have a concept design which we require to be completed by professionals with architectural capacity to 1) Allow them to be sued for planning requirements 2) to cost how much the work would require so that we can make the proper funding applications. There is no deadline.

£1000 donation towards the cost of the many table and chairs we need within this community building.  As an island with serious deprivation statistics this donation will be very much appreciated. Thanks for your consideration!
