Ardrossan Highland Games LOCALITY
Three Towns Wish 1
Type of wish
Financial (donation of money) What do you need?
The Highland Games costs a considerable amount of money to put on every year and although we receive entry money for competitions and advertising etc we have to put out outlays each year in order for the games to be a success. Each competition has prize money and one such competition is the heavies event with the prize money being around £1000 between the sections.
Wish 2
Type of wish
Sponsorship or fundraising support What do you need?
Sponsorship, like above, would considerably help us with the planning of the event. Our programmes which are free each year cost us between £500 and £800 depending on the quantity we decide to get printed. These programmes contain a wide variety of local business who advertise through them as well as all the information that people need for the day.
Wish 3

Other (please specify in your next answer) What do you need?
We have had the privilege of being supported by the Cunninghame Housing Association fund throughout th years however this year we have been advised that it is currently under review and therefore no applications are being accepted for 2025/2026 which has set us back financially already. Any support is greatly appreciated by the committee and helps us make the games the success it always is.

In the coming weeks we are opening the doors to our new construction training workshop where we will run a series of practical construction courses teaching basic joinery, painting & decorating, bricklaying, and plumbing. These courses not only teach trade skills but also foster teamwork, responsibility, and self-belief.
To deliver this training, we urgently need support in the form of materials, tools, and personal protective

Impact Arts LOCALITY
Irvine Wish 1
Type of wish
Materials (donation) What do you need?
We need approx 2 tonnes of gravel along with a new weed membrane to tidy up the front garden of our Bank Street property in Irvine so that our building feels and looks like a safe and welcoming space for all the children and young people who access our services.
Wish 2
Type of wish
Materials (donation) What do you need?
We would love to receive replacement flooring for the chill out/ meeting space at our Bank Street property in Irvine (approx 16x12 feet). The space is used by young people who need a quieter space away from our main workshop, for parents & carers waiting for their children during art therapy sessions and for meetings. The current carpet is very worn and old and would really benefit from a new carpet or wooden flooring to uplift the space and to make those who use it feel more valued.
Wish 3
Type of wish
Request for voluntary time from contractor - general (e.g. helping at an event, general labour for a project) What do you need?
We are fortunate to have a small back garden at our premises in Irvine but we don't use it enough as it's become a bit run down. We'd love to create an outdoor learning space/ seating area for use over the warmer months and for it to have a makeover so that it's a nicer place to spend time outdoors.
