Community Benefits Wishlist Submission

We have many visitors to the inn, both local and tourists, who come on electric bikes. We would like to install a bike shed at the inn, which can also charge electric bikes. We would expect the cost to be around £3,000. This will allow us to attract more visitors to the area, benefitting the inn and other local businesses.

We are in need of skips to clear an area of the stadium. At present, this is a health and safety issue, especially with the younger members of our youth academy. any support would be very much appreciated.

We are looking to put in a new pathway. This will be to allow wheelchair access onto the grounds and to allow them to be seated under cover in the stand. At present, there is access into the park, albeit, not great and doesn't allow the wheelchairs under cover. Any support would be appreciated.

we are in very much need of 2 new metal gates at our turnstiles. at present, we can't use the turnstiles as it is to dangerous as the gates are a health and safety issue. We are using the double gates at present which is less controlled. Any support would be great.

We need approximately 50 full size sleepers to create two seating areas for our pupils in the Bereavement Garden. Roughly 3 to 4 tonnes of white chips. White stone edging. Curved slabs for seating.

The monetary donation will be to help towards labour costs of the erection of the Bereavement Garden.

We would need construction labour to help build the seating, and install the stone edging, lay the membrane and level stone chips.

Request for voluntary time from a creative designer that can support us to develop a design programme/plan for the installation of heritage boards; QR codes and murals around our town. For Beith and district one of our actions is to improve our spaces - how they look and how they feel to make them more inviting and welcoming for residents and visitors. This will help us to apply for funding foe a feasibility study and to create our visual spaces that supports social isolation and mental health and well being.

We are looking for a donation of voluntary time and tarmac. We have restored an unloved garden that was initially created for the queens coronation in 1953. Since then it has been under utilised and since 2020 we have restored the original draughts board, planted the raised borders, installed commemorative benches and trees. The path around the area and draught board is in need of a smoother surface to make it accessible for wheelchair and buggy users. Currently it has chipped stones covered in moss and is uneven. Any left over tarmac would be greatly appreciated to complete our coronation garden access.

We are looking to raise £4000. This will support us to purchase and install an information heritage board in our coronation garden. The board will tell the story of the garden from its creation in 1953 to the present day. This is the final phase of restoring the garden that began in 2020.

Our kitchen is dated but workable so we would like our kitchen wrapped and door rehung.

We are seeking a donation of durable, non‑slip, weather‑resistant playground marking paint, suitable for outdoor tarmac. We require enough materials to complete the following markings as part of our playground improvement project: 3 hopscotches 2 activity trails 1 snakes and ladders board 1 outdoor chess board 1 compass graphic We aim to complete the work within this school year, weather permitting.

We are requesting skilled labour support to apply the playground markings once the materials are available. This would involve: Preparing the surface Measuring and laying out the designs Painting and sealing the markings This support will ensure the installation is safe, accurate, and long‑lasting. Work can be scheduled flexibly based on contractor availability.

We are seeking a financial donation to help fund the installation of new playground markings as part of our wider playground‑revamp project. The donation will go directly towards the cost of professional playground paint, stencils, and installation materials. These markings will brighten our playground and provide engaging, inclusive activities that support physical development, coordination, and social play. Any financial contribution will help us move closer to completing this project within the current school year, weather permitting. Ideally we would be asking for £1000-£2000.

Border Fence replacement. Our Club borders the river garnock and the fence is in a poor state and needs to be replaced, unfortunately we don't have the funds.

We have a very large garden, part of which is enclosed.initially there was a large chess board used by the members in the summertime, when the building was erected over 70 Years ago.To access the area was steps ( which are now broken) We really need to form an access ramp for wheelchairs and people with restricted mobility to access the area.The stone slabs need replaced or relaid and the chessboard reinstated. Large chess pieces and draughts purchased, with storage for the same This will encourage our members in outside exercise.

The rest of the garden is overgrown It needs replanted and designed to accommodate our members to use outside space

We wish all our garden area to be a biodiversity hub to encourage wildlife, animals birds,and bees.The installation of a rainwater pond ( we already have our roof drains relocated to facilitate) Our members and guests will be able to view from external seats around the garden and from our garden view windows to all that is going on.

The donation of 4 staff iPads would greatly improve efficiency, enhance safeguarding accuracy, modernise our systems and enhance communication with parents through digital platforms. This will reduce staff workload while increasing the quality of interactions with children. Ensuring our staff had up to date technology systems would also increase employee health and wellbeing.

Donation of flooring materials for the area between our indoor and outdoor space to be covered. Outdoor learning has so many benefits to the children at early years such as increase confidence, improving mood and emotions, imaginative role play, try new challenges and respect for nature. We have a small area that would benefit from some sort of flooring being laid so that it was easy to clean, accessible for children and easier for them to go in and out the playroom to the outdoor space.

Outdoor learning has so many benefits to the children at early years such as increase confidence, improving mood and emotions, imaginative role play, try new challenges and respect for nature.
