Message from Lesley Bowie, Ayrshire and Arran NHS Board Chair

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is looking for a non-executive member to join our Board.  For more information follow this link – NHS Ayrshire & Arran – Board appointment (nhsaaa.net)

Being a non-executive is a rewarding and worthwhile role which will have a lasting impact on the delivery of healthcare across Ayrshire and Arran. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is passionate about the health service to become more involved in guiding the strategies which address the health and social care priorities and care needs of the resident population and ensuring the monitoring and accountability of the Board in delivering these. I would urge anyone who is keen to make a difference to consider applying.

The Board is keen that people from all walks of life apply, and particularly welcomes applications from groups currently under-represented on Scotland’s public bodies such as women, disabled people, LGBTI+ people, people from ethnic communities and people aged under 50.  Full details of the vacancy and how to apply is on the Scottish Government Public Appointments website.
