The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has published Poverty in Scotland 2021. This report covers both the big picture of poverty in Scotland and the lived reality of it at a household level. Fire and rescue framework: Consultation

The Scottish Government is seeking views on the next Fire and Rescue Framework for Scotland. This sets out Scottish Ministers’ expectations of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. The Framework provides SFRS with strategic priorities and objectives, together with guidance on how the delivery of its functions should contribute to the Scottish Government’s purpose.

Community Ownership in Scotland 2020

An annual publication showing the extent of community ownership in Scotland has been released. There were 612 assets in community ownership as at December 2020. This is an increase of 15 (3%) from 597 in 2019. All but seven of the assets in community ownership are land and/or buildings.
