Environment strategy: initial monitoring framework

The Environment Strategy creates an overarching framework for Scotland’s environmental strategies and plans, including the Climate Change Plan. An overview of the initial selection of indicators for the environment strategy for Scotland monitoring framework and plans for reporting progress has been published.
Launch of £15 million Scottish Community Lenders Fund

A new £15 million fund has been announced to support affordable lending services. It will support Credit Unions and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) which offer financial help to those who have poor credit and are often turned away from high street banks.

Equality and Human Rights Fund

The Equality and Human Rights Fund is a new programme that supports organisations that deliver work focussed on tackling inequality and discrimination, furthering equality, and advancing the realisation of human rights in Scotland. The Fund will distribute up to £7 million annually for three years from October 2021 to September 2024.
