The North Ayrshire Council proposes to change the use of Common Good land situated adjacent to Redburn Community Centre, Dickson Drive, Irvine.

The Common Good Land is currently used as open space ground and the proposal is to develop the Land with new Council housing for social rent. The Land currently occupied by the Redburn Youth Centre will also be used for the proposed housing development and the Youth Association and related activities will be relocated into the Redburn Community Centre. The Youth Association supports this proposal.

Anyone may make representations about this request to North Ayrshire Council. Representations must be in writing and include the name and address of the person making it. A copy of the representation will be given to the organisation making the request.

Proposal for Use of Land

 

The Council intends to develop the land bounded in red on the attached plan into 24 new homes for Council rent.

If approved, a consultation event will be held to allow local people to influence the draft plans for the site.

Thereafter local people will be invited to review the final plans.
