The North Ayrshire Place Partnership is pleased to announce its Microgrants Programme; grants of up to £1,000 for artists living and working in North Ayrshire to develop their creative practice. Aiming to help support creative practitioners following the impact of COVID-19 on the cultural sector, the Microgrants will fund approximately 15 artists across the area, working in visual arts, theatre, music, craft, dance, literature, or film.
The selection panel will prioritise applications that address the following criteria:
- Support artists to sustain their practice following the impact of Covid-19
- Support small scale projects to test out ideas and foster new relationships within the community
- Support professional development for creative practitioners

The North Ayrshire Place Partnership is funded by North Ayrshire Council alongside The National Lottery through Creative Scotland’s Place Partnership Programme.
