ARDROSSAN NORTH SHORE: REVETMENT CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING LAND RECLAMATION
Notice is hereby given that North Ayrshire Council, intends to apply to Scottish Ministers for a marine licence to construct a new revetment at the Ardrossan North Shore site (approximate central grid reference NS 22718 42702).
The proposed works will incorporate replacement of the existing coastal defence with a new rock revetment incorporating an area of coastal infill as part of land reclamation works.
The pre-application consultation event will take place online via the video conferencing application ‘Teams’. The event will take place on 3rd November starting at 1pm. The event will provide an opportunity for the public and stakeholders to consider and comment on the prospective application.

Please note that comments made to North Ayrshire Council are not representations to the Scottish Ministers. Once the marine licence application is submitted there will be an opportunity for representations to be made to the Scottish Ministers on the application
