National drive for women and girls in sport

The Scottish Government is focusing on increasing the participation levels of women and girls in sport and activities. This includes a Scottish sport media summit aimed at exploring, through a collaborative approach, ways to increase visibility and coverage of women’s sport across all platforms. Recorded Crime in Scotland

The police in Scotland recorded 18,809 crimes in September 2021. This was 4% lower than the 19,684 crimes recorded in the same month of 2020 (when pandemic restrictions were in place) and 8% lower than the 20,405 crimes recorded in the same month of 2019 (for which there was no pandemic or restrictions on movement).
