The Scottish Government are now carrying out a publication consultation to get important feedback from islands communities to help inform the guidance and templates for completing an Island Communities Impact Assessment (ICIA). The ICIA process is about understanding the impacts of policies in island communities. It ensures that islands receive fair and equitable treatment and policy outcomes that are tailored to their unique circumstances.
