Today Community Justice Ayrshire launched the Service User Involvement guide ‘Inclusive Justice; Co-producing Change’.
This is a culmination of over three years work on a significant piece of research that is the first of its kind in Scotland.
The event gave delegates an opportunity to hear from the three service user involvement groups established across Ayrshire.
During the morning, Dr. Claire Lightowler (Director, Centre for Youth and Criminal Justice) highlighted how we can most effectively support service user involvement and provide a step by step guide on how to develop this within our own area of work. This was followed by the three Ayrshire groups MAD, PING and CVN, sharing the successes and challenges faced during their journey and describing first-hand how being part of the group has impacted on them.
