We are a community led volunteer group, committed to enhancing the quality of life in Irvine. Our aim is to make a positive difference in our community through encouraging residents to be more conscious of their litter and disposing of it in such a way it benefits the environment for the greater good. We organise community group picks, throughout the year and in the summer months we hold fortnightly beach cleans. Through volunteers hard work on the beach, we have been awarded, and retained for the past 3 years, the Keep Scotland Beautiful flag for Irvine beach. Currently we are the only beach in North Ayrshire to receive this award and our aim is to continually improve the appearance while reducing the environmental impact litter has on our coastline.
