Cycling Without Age Scotland (CWAS) is a charity that provides free, inclusive outings for people who are elderly, isolated or have mobility difficulties. Our volunteer pilots take passengers out on a specially adapted trishaw, allowing them to enjoy fresh air, beautiful surroundings and meaningful social interaction that they may otherwise be unable to access.
Our Largs Chapter provides outings along the Largs Promenade, lasting between 20 and 90 minutes. We primarily support residents of care homes and individuals living at home, but we also welcome disabled people of all ages, pupils from schools who may be neurodivergent , and children and adults receiving care.
