Crossing Together is a project based in Bourtreehill established by Church of Scotland covering the Irvine area.
Crossing together supports individuals and families, responding to social, emotional and practical needs. Many areas within Irvine are areas of multiple deprivation. Some of the activities that Crossing Together has is: Tea and Toast and community meals – helping with food poverty and isolation. They also have a toddler group offering opportunities to toddlers and their parent/caregivers that they may not otherwise have access too.
Mental Health & Wellbeing is high on the agenda and we work with partners to offer educational courses to support in this area.
We have seen many lives transformed through the work.
All activities that Crossing together run are free to attend and relies on donations for sustainability.
