We are nearing the end of a project to install a state of the art concrete skatepark in Orr’s Park, Beith. We raised over £200k to make this project possible. Due to increased costs and unplanned for costs we have a shortfall in the budget for landscaping. Our contractor did not budget for an access road and Sportscotland required us to provide floodlighting, NAC did not give permission to use the lighting already in the park and we had to bring in a new supplier. We have had a landscaping quote for £24k from a local and reputable company and need to raise £8k to meet this. We feel it is extremely important that the landscaping is undertaken to a high spec and embeds the skatepark in the park. We require the landscaping work to be completed in September 2024.
