Abbeyfield House is a nursing and residential home in Kilwinning Road, Irvine. The home has 28 residents and is run as a voluntary organisation by Abbeyfield Irvine and District Society. Our mission statement is ‘My Home, not A Home’.
It is everyone’s wish to stay at home for as long as possible and we consider Abbeyfield to be that hoe.
Out door space and activities are a very important factor in wellbeing. We encourage residents to enjoy our outdoor spaces and would now like to develop a reminisce/sensory garden.
For residents who are unable to go outdoors, we would like to provide window boxes and bird feeders.
