Hansel is a leading social care charity whose Vision is “to give people of all abilities the freedom to live the life they choose.” We place innovation and passion at the forefront of delivering real change for the people we support through a range of services and opportunities we provide including residential accommodation and home support; respite and short breaks and our social enterprise business, Hansel 3e (employment, education and enterprise).
2023 is the year in which Hansel celebrates the 60th anniversary of the provision of a breadth of positive care and support experiences for people with additional support needs across Ayrshire. Hansel was honoured to start the year by being one of the three finalists for the 2023 Robert Burns Humanitarian Award.
