Beith and District Community Council bridges the gap between local authorities and local communities. Our Community Council comprises of 8 volunteers who are elected or co-opted to serve as Community Councilors. We have appointed from its membership a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. The purpose of Community Councils is finding out what local people think about issues affecting the local community; making sure that Councils and other public bodies are aware of those views; communicating information to the local community and acting in the interests of the local community. We meet every second Tuesday of the month. We have recently been re-elected to serve another 4 years. We are represented in other bodies such as the Lochshore Development Group; Garnock Valley local priorities groups: Moving Around; Facilties & Amenities; Work & Local Community.
We have a facebook page, instagram and twitter accounts
