North Ayrshire Growth & Investment team is consulting on the proposed upgrade and redevelopment of Ardrossan Ferry Terminal.
These proposals form part of the wider Ardrossan Regeneration Programme and when implemented will improve the facilities and operations at Ardrossan Harbour to meet the additional capacity provided by the MV Glen Sannox. This consultation is focused on the proposed improvements which include a new terminal building, Passenger Access System, parking and marshalling facilities and reflects lessons learned from the new Brodick facilities.
Feedback from this consultation will be further inform the design proposals which are taken forward for construction under a design and build contract. It should be noted that this this will be subject to further consultation and detailed design changes by the appointed contractor.
We want to get further feedback from the people of North Ayrshire to help further develop this design and will be conducting an online consultation accessed via the link below where feedback can be submitted via the online form. Furthermore, the material can viewed at Ardrossan and Brodick libraries with hard copies available.

Ardrossan
Public consultation on Thursday 3 March 2022 at Ardrossan Library from 3pm until 6pm. Due to Covid 19 and space restrictions, attendance will be by appointment unless there is spare capacity. Public consultation will be held on Wednesday 9 March 2022 at St Bride’s Church Hall, Brodick from 12pm until 7pm. Unfortunately this event has been postponed due to ferry cancellations and will be rescheduled.
