Sustrans Scotland has partnered with North Ayrshire Council and Ardrossan Community Development Trust on the Ardrossan Connections Project which aims to enhance walking, cycling and wheeling routes, and shape a more accessible, safe and welcoming centre of Ardrossan.
We reached out to local residents, businesses and community groups in Ardrossan to find out what they like about the National Cycle Network route and the surrounding areas and to hear their ideas about the changes they’d like to see.
