Following a recent public consultation informed by the Scottish Government’s free period products legislation – coming into effect nationwide next week, North Ayrshire Council has announced the renewal of its Period Dignity Strategy

The Council is now widening its free period products service, making a host of improvements over the coming months.
The strategy’s 12-step action plan will ensure that anyone who requires free period products can access them conveniently and free from embarrassment so they can feel confident, empowered and supported wherever they are in North Ayrshire .
