North Ayrshire Council is fully committed to creating a fairer and more equal society where no one lives in poverty.
To renew their ongoing commitment to tackling the root causes of poverty, Elected Members agreed upon the creation of a new Local Child Poverty Action Plan 2022-23 at a recent meeting of Cabinet.
The action plan will use a multi-agency approach to mitigate the effects of poverty faced by children and young people living in North Ayrshire.
