CCDC are a registered charity and we have two trading companies – Garrison House (Cumbrae) Ltd., and Millport Holiday Apartments Ltd.
CCDC runs & maintains the public toilet blocks on the island, we operate a motorhome site within the grounds of Garrison House and run the visitor moorings in Millport.
Garrison House is Cumbrae's 'community hub'. It is home to our Local Library & Council Office, Museum of the Cumbraes, NHS Doctor's Surgery, Community Meeting Room, Cafe and two Courtyard retail units.
The grounds play host to festivals held on Cumbrae and community led events such as The Crowning of the Cumbrae Queen, Emergency Services Day, Welcome To Cumbrae Event and much more.
The grounds also offer an idyllic spot for families to picnic, an astro turf pitch, space to exercise dogs and areas for wildlife.
