Scottish Fire and Rescue invites your views on the proposed Framework and its strategic key priorities. The Fire and Rescue Framework for Scotland is the vehicle through which Scottish Ministers set out priorities and objectives that the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) must have regard to in carrying out its functions, in terms of public safety, efficiency and effectiveness.

The 7 strategic priorities within the proposed new Framework set out Scottish Ministers’ expectations of SFRS and also seek to provide guidance and support to the Service, setting in context the overarching purpose that SFRS should adhere to in carrying out its functions.

You can access the consultation on the proposed Framework here – https://consult.gov.scot/safer-communities/fire-and-rescue-framework. The consultation will close on 22 December 2021.
