Carnegie UK have published Rethinking Scotland: Action required to include more voices in policy-making in Scotland. They asked for people’s views on what needs to happen and who needs to act to put some of Scotland’s big ideas into practice. Their recommendations include:
- Address power imbalances in the policy-making process
- Co-produce principles to transform who is involved in policy-making
- Develop an infrastructure for engagement
