Wish 1: Type of wish
Request for voluntary time from contractor - general (e.g. helping at an event, general labour for a project)
Wish 1: What do you need?
Children 1st, North Ayrshire are moving from the current premises to a new location within the community. This move is planned to take place towards the end of the year. Initially the move will be made as a transfer of lease from our current premises in Bourtreehill but will progress towards a full community asset transfer in the following months. Our first wish would be for support to decorate the new premises so that we could continue to offer a bright and welcoming space to the community. The space is a large hall with separate rooms that would also benefit from re-decor.

Wish 1: What do you need?
MCR Pathways is seeking support from local organisations and businesses to recruit staff members as mentors to a young person in one of 6 schools in North Ayrshire. MCR recruits, trains and supports highly committed mentors who meet their young people for a school period each week for a minimum of a year. The only requirement to become a mentor is simply a desire to help a young person and put them first. Building a positive relationship is based on non-judgemental listening and encouragement. Further information on the MCR programme in North Ayrshire can be found at www.mcrpathways.org or you can contact Alan Wade at the address provided. We will discuss with you how you and your people can support this nationally recognised programme across the authority area.

Wish 1: Type of wish
Request for voluntary time from contractor - general (e.g. helping at an event, general labour for a project)
Wish 1: What do you need?
We have odd jobs needing done around the youth cabins, such as shelves needing put up and a dart board needing hung, which due to the construction of the portacabin walls we wouldn't like to attempt ourselves! As well as this, as the cabins are starting to get older, we have regular repairs needing done. In the last year or two, we have had to replace damp flooring, the whole kitchen floor/cabinet, and patch up a section of wall, due to damp. It would be amazing to have a local contractor who is willing to donate their time to do this when needed.

Wish 1: What do you need?
We need to build a Changing Place toilet (i.e. with a tracking hoist, changing plinth etc) to afford our team their dignity and safety at work. We have the space and most of the funding to complete the project, but we are still looking for the tracking hoist to fit into the Changing Place, and would welcome discussions around either donations of the hoist itself or financial support to purchase one.

Wish 1: What do you need?
The yellow Barrow community garden also know as the 'secret garden' due to its hidden elevated location is on the Main street in West Kilbride. The ground requires a a lot of work initially with the view that this space will become a small haven where new horticultural life will thrive, which in turn can be enjoyed by all the community whether it's for educational purposes, growing their own produce or whether they're coming to pick some fruit or vegetables to take home and turn them into affordable nutritious meals. The ground is currently sloped, uneven and filled with rubble, glass and overgrown shrubs and foliage. Volunteers are currently doing their best by hand, and extra help, especially from contractors who have the know-how, or the right equipment to help turn over the ground and made it a good solid foundation in order to develop a successful community garden space.
Wish 2: Type of wish
Materials (donation)
Wish 2: What do you need?
The community garden, urgently requires a safe entrance - at present the elevated location and uneven ground means that there is no level platform upon entering. The rest of the space isn't level either, therefore once the ground has been cleared of debris and has been over turned we would require: ~ fresh compost for the ground so we can grow (at the moment its only a rough guess but several tonnes would be required) ~ timber for raised beds and planters, timber/decking to create some form of platform that would be approximately 15ftx10ft although the final measurements would be led by professional opinion on what they felt was best for our space ~Small tool storage shed ~strong weed membrane for planters (several rolls would be required). ~pots of outdoor paint so we can add colour to our future planters ~skip/rubbish removal so we can safely dispose of the debris and garden waste The deadline for clearing the debris and working the ground to a suitable starting point to begin future work on is early next year, 2022. Work is taking place at the moment but with changing weather conditions and reduced daily lighting the task is becoming a race against time.
Wish 3: Type of wish
Financial (donation of money)
Wish 3: What do you need?
A donation of money towards the West Kilbride Community Support Group would enable us to sustain our village larder for as long as we possibly can. A financial donation, rather than a food one, would enable us to identify and purchase items that families require that we might not necessarily get via food donarions regularly, E.g baby food, baby formula, baby toiletries, or 'free from' items for those with allergies. These are more expensive items that people might not think of donating, especially if it's something they don't buy in their own regular shop. Moreover, a financial donation would enable the group to purchase essential items for the secret garden should we not receive our wish for materials mentioned above. Looking to the future we will require money for bulbs, plants etc. 100% of the money would be used to benefit our community members who use the Larder, and through the develop of our community garden, we aim to provide a sustainable space where everyone can access a safe space whether it be to keep a healthy life, or whether it's for the more essential access to fresh food at little or no cost.

Wish 2: What do you need?
**Wish fulfilled by Swarco** We supply this service free of charge. We are totally self funded and rely on donations from friends and family of the patients. We get no financial support from the NHS or Government bodies. There is no deadline for the offer of financial support as we require the funds to keep the charity providing the transport

Wish 1: What do you need?
The Foodbank is seeking to expand its operations into areas which require legal indemnity for the Trustees. We are looking for a person with legal experience of establishing a SCIO who can talk through the steps, review the activities and write the SCIO constitution to reflect the new activities and their complexities. If a SCIO is not suitable then advise on the best legal form the Foodbank should be adopting. We are looking to have the new legal form registered with the appropriate regulator by end of March 2022.
Wish 2: Type of wish

Wish 2: What do you need?
We are having a new ramp system built onto containers to connect it to the back hall of the church. The installers require an area to be cleared of stones and soil to make the ground level for the new ramp system to be placed. A Building warrant is currently being discuss and there would be an 8 week order time for the ramp system. It is the aspiration that the ground would be levelled in time for January 2022. We have drawings of the area and measurements have been made by church members who have the technical expertise. There is space for a mini digger to enter the church grounds which is accessed by a small opening for a side gate. If entering from the front of the church, that is larger. Inspection is advisable.
Wish 3: Type of wish
Food (donation)
Wish 3: What do you need?
**Wish fulfilled by Swarco** We are looking to place a festive food box in all temporary accommodation households for the Christmas period. This will contain standard food box items but we are looking to add festive treats to those. The aim is to follow on from the success of last years programme which saw 250 households provided with boxes. The festive items we need in quantity are 250 of each of the following: Schloer / 2l fizzy drinks (no alcohol), Tin of chocolates, tin of festive biscuits, shortbread and Pringles. In past years households contacted the Foodbank on Christmas and Boxing Day. To see if we could pre-empt calls for assistance we placed the boxes in all homes last year and received zero calls.
