£825 - 550 chocolate selection boxes @ £1.50 for distribution @ Santa's Grotto We are a local group who volunteer each year & organise the Saltcoats Christmas Carnival event for the town which will be held on Sunday 27 November this year. It is a one-day event and each year we endeavour the event to be accessible to all by offering free entry and participation. Only the funfair has an entry cost which we fundraise annually to both provide and keep the cost affordable for all families. We provide free entertainment from the main stage and this is attended by local community groups & schools who like to showcase what they do. This encourages local engagement and brings our community together in the spirit of the festive season. We also provide a large Santa grotto for the young which is attended by 600 plus on the day.

Wish 1: What do you need?
We are a charity run outdoor skatepark. It has recently been taken over by a new board who are currently trying to rejuvenate the park. It is fairly run down and needs a lot of repairs. We are working on trying to bring a regular income in to park and linking up with local groups and schools in area making the park accessible to all. We also want to make the park look more inviting to the community. Initally, we're looking for a plumber - repairs within our public toilets

Wish 2: What do you need?
We in 2023 love to provide a free/or heavily subsidised Easter Egg Hunt and Santas Grottos for children in our local community. In a time of financial difficulty small endeavours like these can make a huge difference to the spirit of local children in an already socially deprived area.

Wish 3: What do you need?
We have a large area of land approximately 1/3 of the land we have is unusable for food growing or areas we can use for fundraising for events, due to flooding. Flooding also impacts our roads within the plots. as a not for profit we struggle to buy aggregate or machinery hire to deal with our drainage issues at todays costs and the vast amounts that we would need to make any difference to the problems. We would be looking for donations of man and digger, drainage materials, type 1 or road planeings. All or 1 would be highly beneficial to us.

Wish 1: What do you need?
We would love to find suitable storage for our equipment which consists of approximately 10 African drums and assorted percussion in bags. Currently our community musician and group office bearers are taking equipment home after each event. This already causes difficulties if instruments and percussion are required for specific purposes and will be more problematic with the new drums we've ordered. We will need space for 24 drums and 4 or 5 bags of assorted percussion. Ideally we would need a secure, dry location with shelving and easy vehicle access to collect and return equipment.

Wish 1: What do you need?
MCR Pathways is seeking support from local organisations and businesses to recruit staff members as mentors to a young person in one of 6 schools in North Ayrshire. MCR recruits, trains and supports highly committed mentors who meet their young people for a school period each week for a minimum of a year. The only requirement to become a mentor is simply a desire to help a young person and put them first. Building a positive relationship is based on non-judgemental listening and encouragement. Further information on the MCR programme in North Ayrshire can be found at www.mcrpathways.org or you can contact Alan Wade at the address provided. We will discuss with you how you and your people can support this nationally recognised programme across the authority area.

Wish 1: What do you need?
We are urgently seeking help from an accountant. Due to extenuating health and personal circumstances in 2022 both hands on directors had to take long periods out of the organisation day to day running. As a result, we crucially need help to submit our accounts to Companies House from our bookkeeping records. Urgent assistance is being sought due to the impact this also had on our income in 2022 to enable us to hire an accountant. We have 4 weeks to complete and would be seeking help as a matter of urgency to restabilise our much used and required organisation.

Wish 1: What do you need?
We have odd jobs needing done around the youth cabins, such as shelves needing put up and a dart board needing hung, which due to the construction of the portacabin walls we wouldn't like to attempt ourselves! As well as this, as the cabins are starting to get older, we have regular repairs needing done. In the last year or two, we have had to replace damp flooring, the whole kitchen floor/cabinet, and patch up a section of wall, due to damp. It would be amazing to have a local contractor who is willing to donate their time to do this when needed.
