Community Benefits Wishlist Submission

The community of Ardrossan has a lot of fly tipping, and we're hoping to decrease it by offering free skips for local people to use. The skips would be secure within the centre grounds, after bonfire nights, to encourage people to bring any items to the skip to improve our local community and improve the look and feel of the town. While we would be hosting the skips in the north of the town, the offer would be open to anyone in the community. We're looking for 2 skips for a week in early November if possible, or donations of money towards the cost of skip hire.

We've recently started supporting a mixed youth football team based at the Whitlees Community Centre. As this is a new team, we're looking for any support or sponsorship to help them get the materials they need to play. We would be really grateful for any donations of tracksuits, football posts, balls, markers or other football equipment for the young people.

Each year we host a Community Christmas dinner for members of our community who would otherwise be alone over the festive season. We usually hold this in early December, and we provide a three course meal, entertainment and a present for everyone who attends. We would be really grateful for any donations of food items or vouchers for local supermarkets to help us make this another great event.

We are taking over another part of the building here and are looking for any timber, a new adjoining door or any used power tools - we would be eternally grateful

We are looking for timber & rafter insulation rolls. 12 off ideally something like Superglass 570mm x 10m x 90mm rolls.

We are looking to decorate our facility and require financial support to purchase the materials to do this. For all paints, (Emulsion and Gloss) tools (Brushes, rollers, trays) and floor covering. We are looking for a financial donation of £913.65

We are looking to paint the exterior of our building and we are looking for the materials donated to do this. We are looking for 100 litres of white smooth masonry, rollers/trays and masonry brushes.

Selection boxes for the Santas Grottos. We are looking for 800 at £3.00 each so this would equate to £2400 in total. This number is based on previous years.

The garden area to be pressure washed and resanded as it is 10 years old and looking very tired

We would like the office environment to be painted as the office is looking tired as the building is now 10 years old

We would like support to provide healthy snacks for the families who attend our events - Fresh fruit , cereal bars , crisps and bottled water We estimate we will need about enough for 100/120 with the exception for Party in the Park event which we estimate 250/300 people We would require the donations across the 7 weeks of the school holidays

We are looking for donations of benches and for them to be installed in a new playpark. The costs for 4 benches would cost us £6,7290.00. The addition of benches is a valuable and necessary upgrade to the playpark, supporting the comfort and convenience of all park visitors and fostering a more welcoming and inclusive community space.

We need some help to removing weeds around our community garden. Clearing pathways and walkways. Tidying up the landscaped and garden areas.

We are fundraising to help develop our local playpark. We are looking for any donations financial, raffle prizes or any other support to raise the funds. The cost of the playpark is estimated at £151,700.99. We have already secured £100,000.00 through funding and would really appreciate any support.

A Container and Voluntary Time to set up please We urgently need a container sited outside of the hall - this will offer local people accessing the Community Larder more privacy and dignity. We also hope that it encourages others living in food poverty to access this vital service. Currently, we have the fridge/freezer in the main hall and the larder in a large cupboard area also in the main hall, access is managed around when the hall is not in use. The container we require to have electricity for fridges and Freezers and lighting/heating. We will also require purpose-built shelving for food items and things like school uniforms/Halloween kids' recycling clothing rail as we will make it a multi-use facility.

We aim to provide local kids and youths with fun activities, gaming groups, sports access and football team development and arts and crafting opportunities. We need sponsorship for setting up a football team and fundraising support to be able to purchase sports equipment and crafting supplies.

We need support to design a new dining area for our Community Cafe to enable us to get accurate costings to apply for funding and signage for the front of the building to encourage pride in the local hall.

Ardrossan Sea Cadets need replacement Portacabins to replace the units they lost due to the pandemic. Because of no meetings, the portacabins could not be maintained. The lack of maintenance, thereby became unfit to accommodate our Sea Cadets. Do you have some 32ft x 10ft portacabins that you do not need but could be put to use for our sea Cadets to use?

The Sea Cadet detachment has a prepared area ready for the installation of the base material/foundation and now needs to have it tarred. They have a substantial amount of money to contribute to the overall cost but are looking for a company to support them by providing labour or raw materials. This would allow them to take the next step in obtaining portacabins, which would then enable them to accept more cadets. • Companies can provide workers to help with the tarring and installation process • This hands-on support would be a valuable contribution • The detachment is willing to advertise the supporting company's services and goodwill to others in the area • This can be great exposure and PR for the company

Materials to deliver group sessions - yoga mats, blankets, cushions, sensory lights, resources. £500 would be needed to cover materials. These will be used for multiple ongoing groups

Funding to provide opportunities for people in the community to experience a range of holistic therapies, to improve their mental health and wellbeing and to develop coping skills that will enhance their lives. People who would benefit from the support however do not have the financial means to access them. £1,000 would cover the delivery of the services.

A printer so that I can print of journals/resources that I am making for groups
