North Ayrshire Council consults annually with tenants on proposals relating to rent setting. This is your opportunity to have a say in how much rent you pay.
The Council remain committed to keeping your rent as affordable as possible, whilst continuing to deliver on your priorities as a tenant and ours as your landlord and ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
We are seeking tenants’ feedback on three options. We have set these out within the below survey, along with an explanation of the implications of each option.
The consultation survey can be accessed here.
This year’s rent setting consultation period will run from 12 December 2022 to 22 January 2023.
You can also complete the consultation by:
- Visiting your local housing office or library to complete the consultation online
- Call the Customer Contact Centre or housing office to:
- complete the survey over the phone; or
- request a survey form to be posted to you (a freepost return envelope will be provided)
Feedback will be used to prepare a report for a meeting of the Council in February 2023, where Elected Members will consider the proposed rent increase for Council tenants for 2023/24.
