Please note this consultation is now closed

Consultation start date – Friday 13th January 2017

Consultation end date – Friday 24th February 2017

Under the Community Justice (Scotland) Act, Community Planning Partnerships are taking over responsibility for community justice. Locally we are doing this through Community Justice Ayrshire. This plan will run from April 2017 and will be refreshed annually. A consultation draft of the community justice plan has been published. This plan is focused on three ambitions – ‘Beginnings, Belonging, Belief’ and it takes a strengths-based approach to change. The Commitments (local, practical actions) in the plan were informed by two events held in partnership with Centrestage Communities at HMP Kilmarnock and Ardeer Community Centre on 19 and 20 October 2016. There were 100 people involved in the justice system at the events, including prisoners, service users and practitioners. These were followed by a series of action planning workshops for community justice partners in East, North and South Ayrshire during December 2016.

Results of this consultation will be posted when available please check back soon.
